YOLANDA V. FUNDORA is a Cuban-American
artist born in Havana and raised in New York City.
She currently lives in Chatham, New Jersey. She lived
in Puerto Rico for 10 years, where she was an active
member of the art community and the organization Mujeres
Artistas de Puerto Rico.
Her work is part of many private and corporate collections,
including the permanent collection of the Museum of
Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico in San Juan. She recently
had her second one-woman show at the Museum of Contemporary
Art of Puerto Rico titled Toward a Digital Aesthetic:
the Art of Yolanda Fundora. She has been Featured
Artist for Apple Computer's iCard series with her
series of digital prints A Garden Alphabetized
(for your viewing pleasure). She has a long career
as illustrator and product designer with the gift
and toy industry, and currently runs her own licensing
studio specializing in textile design.
